Classical DVD Music: A Better Way to Listen to Classical Music

By , About.com Guide

What is Classical DVD Music

Classical DVD music is a new wave of music designed to enhance the listener’s experience. The classical music DVD’s are a major upgrade from CD’s (if you have the proper equipment). They offer 74 minutes of high quality, highly detailed surround sound music including video and limited interactivity.

Classical Music DVD vs. CD

Classical music DVD’s offer breathtaking, high quality surround sound – CD’s do not. Classical music DVD’s play in most DVD players and all DVD-A(udio) players – CD’s play in CD players and some DVD players. However, some music DVD’s can play in CD players, but only if they are marked as “DVDplus / DualDisk” – one side is DVD while the other side is CD.

Where to Get Classical DVD Music

You can find classical DVD music in almost any retail store that sells music or online.
