About the Blossom Festival:
Located just 25 miles south of Cleveland, Ohio, within the beautiful 33,000 acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Blossom Music Center becomes the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra. The festival's award winning venue, the Blossom Pavilion, seats over 5,000 people under its roof, while the adjacent lawn area can seat another 13,500 people. What started as a six-week concert series in 1968, has now expanded into ten weeks of classical music, jazz, rock, country, ballet, and more.

Performances and Featured Artists:
This year's Blossom Festival includes eleven classical programs featuring Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Brahms’s Second Piano Concerto, Mozart’s “Jupiter” Symphony, Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto, as well as Ravel’s Boléro . The Cleveland Orchestra will also perform six family oriented concerts including a new program titled Bugs Bunny at Blossom. After 20 years, ballet will presented! The Joffery Ballet will perform four different works. Guest artists include, Jahja Ling, Lionel Bringuier, James Gaffigan, Giancarlo Guerrero, David Zinman, among many others.
