Classical music Halloween concerts are a great way to introduce your children to the wonderful world of classical music. Many concert halls present matinee performances of spooky music often dressed in Halloween costumes. Many orchestras include games and activities before and after the concerts, including face painting, petting zoos, and trick-or-treating! A Haunted Halloween - Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
  • October 26 - 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM
  • This Halloween concert has become a favorite tradition of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. With spooky music, interpretive dancing, and a costume contest, audiences will definitely be in for a treat.

Halloween Silent Movie with Clark Wilson: Phantom of the Opera - Los Angeles Philharmonic

  • October 31 - 8:00 PM
  • Also a Halloween tradition, this year's silent film will be accompanied by the talented organist, Clark Wilson.

Symphony Spooktacular - Omaha Symphony

  • October 26 - 2:00 PM
  • Not so much scary music as it is famous music from the movies. With music from Batman, Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible, as well as Jaws (just to name a few), kids and adults will find this concert very enjoyable.

Thrilling Halloween Adventures - Dallas Symphony Orchestra

  • October 26 - 2:30 PM
  • Similar to Omaha's Symphony Spooktacular, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present a variety of symphonic works from the movies as well as from the past.

Hallowed Haunts - Civic Orchestra of Chicago

  • October 25 - 2:30
  • This year's Halloween performance will include works by Khachaturian, Mussorgsky, Rota, Humperdinck, Charlap and Styne, Elfman, and Williams. Pre-concert activities begin an hour before the performance.
