Elektra Synopsis

Richard Strauss' one act opera, Elektra, tells a story about a murderous mother and vengeful daughter - both driven insane by their actions.  And of course, as with most operas, there are a few twists and, yes, death.  If you're not familiar with Strauss' incredibly powerful opera, you're in luck - here's a fantastic full length video of the opera (thanks YouTube!).  Read the synopsis of Elektra.
