L'elisir d'amore Synopsis (Elixir of Love Synopsis)

Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore is one of the most frequently performed operas.  Not only does it feature great music, its humorous plot isn't depressing or sad.  It's a feel good opera to say the least.  If you've never seen it, someone has uploaded an entire performance starring Kathleen Battle as Adina and Luciano Pavarotti as Nemorino on YouTube.  (Watch it here.)
