Bocelli may have a sweet voice, but he was never a classical musician. To quote my friend’s words, “blind singer for deaf people.” Please, let’s stop the hype.

What a terrible thing to say about Andrea Bocelli.

Just think yourself lucky that you are not blind, ignorant yes

I admired Boceli and I bought his album( every albums ).And of course my favourite song is “time to say goodbye”.

Boceli, you have such a sweet, beautifly and extraordinary talent & voice.
And no matter what some people said that you’re blind singer. Yes,you’re blind singer. But that made you so special than another singer.
For me,you’re my idol.

No one knows better than Bocelli himself (as he acknowledged in many interviews) that his success is based exclusively on the quality of his voice, and that he was never capable of understanding and learning the subtleties of fine singing. If his fans don’t mind that, good for him!

What a shame that some little humans need to hurt others with their ignorance. the greatnest of manking is not their bigotry but the gifted ones like Andrea who is willing to share the gift given to him with all of us including the blind of spirit!!

As though a couple of years of conservatory and fearful pondering is going to somehow qualify you to determine what is ‘fine’ and what is ‘art’. Only an ass would make statements like the above. The reason why great people are often tough around the edges is because they are real. People contained in books and academics appear so ideal because you haven’t seen the real life of them–nor do you want to–and you won’t start seeing that in your ‘fine circles’ either. Heart that surpasses your dusty technique is what you don’t understand. So in the great song of life, you were just stuttering and clearing you throat, while a son of Tuscany shaped the clouds with angelic voice while believing in the sun.
