Met Opera to Tribute Ms. Beverly Sills

Make room in your schedule on September 16, 2007, to attend the Metropolitan Opera's Tribute to Beverly Sills at 5 O'clock PM. Tickets will be made available at noon the same day on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of 2 tickets per person. The free to the public event will feature performances by Placido Domingo, Natalie Dessay, Nathan Gunn, James Levine, Anna Netrebko, and Craig Rutenberg. A handful of speakers including New York City mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg, the Chairman of the Board of New York City Opera, Susan Baker, Barbara Walters, as well as Ms. Sills brother, Stanley Sills. Don't worry if you don't live in the New York area, you can watch it live via streaming webcast at metopera.org or you can listen to the Metropolitan Opera Radio on the Sirrius Satelite Radio Network.
