New Music from Mozart
Wednesday December 27, 2006
An unknown score found in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthplace (Salzburg) could have in fact been written by Mozart when he was between the ages of 6 and 10. The work, "Allegro di Wolfgango Mozart," is for piano and is scheduled to be played by Florian Birsak on Friday. Discovered among other unsigned compositions which were once collected by the city's episcopal office, the score has been thoroughly studied and examined by scientists and musicologists. They also believe a second work may also be composed by Mozart. Learn more about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart...
