Free Mozart Sheet Music

Wednesday December 13, 2006
In light of Mozart's upcoming birthday (January 27th), Salzburg's International Foundation Mozarteum honored his 250th anniversary by initiating the Digital Mozart Edition - a complete collection of Mozart's works available for free for private and educational use. The website offering free Mozart sheet music was visited over 400,000 times in its first 12 hours of going live. There's a disclaimer posted on their homepage saying you may experience slow load time as they are currently upgrading/expanding their servers. Although, I don't think many people will mind - it's not too often one finds a complete collection of sheet music for free! The Digital Mozart Edition can be viewed in English or German.

Ok, first of all, it’s MoZart. You know, with a Z.

Second of all, if you think Mozart is “stupid”, why are you even here? You’re pretty much putting the words into my mouth by saying those 3 letters.

Grow up.

(6) Nikki says:

First of all, anyone who says Mozart is stupid isn’t necessarily “stupid”, they just have a different taste. If they don’t have an appreciation for classical music, that’s fine; a lot of people don’t.

Secondly, if you don’t like Mozart, why are you even here? You don’t see me going onto websites for your favorite artist just to say they’re stupid.

Words with incorrect spelling:
intelligance
put
symphony
saxophones
flutes
percussion
instruments

Gosh…I’m a composer myself, and I don’t like Mozart..But that doesn’t mean he sucks! In my opinion, Mozart is a true example of a prodigy .

(16) Kait says:

Everyone has their opinions people! I for one think Mozart was very intelligent and a master at the deeper side of music. But seriously, the person who put that was probably some kid who was bored out of their mind and has totally forgotten about it by now. SO, before we ‘get our panties in a wad’ lets just move on. :)
I love this website. It’s awesome. This page is great.

(20) Amy says:

If he thinks Mozart is “stupid” then let him think so. Do not waste your time explaining to him the genius behind this music. He won’t get it.

November 1, 2009 at 2:17 am
(21) janine gariando says:

Mozart is a prodigy you know(smarter than a genius) he was a gifted child he can do something that others cannot do and that’s the truth so why are insisting that he is a stupid and dumb you could have just keep quiet and try to be like him????

November 4, 2009 at 3:20 pm
(22) Josh says:

To say Mozart is stupid is firstly wrong and secondly it is a ridiculous comment to make. Mozart was a genius, he could play the piano very well when he was a toddler. Although Mozart isnt exactly on my playlist i’m more the metal head tbh but Mozarts music is a very important part of the foundation of most modern music, so for that i respect him. So take your unintelligent, council-house speakings elsewhere,

Thanks
