Classical Music in the Park

Sunday June 11, 2006
That's right, the New York Philharmonic's 42 year tradition of performing classical music under star-lit skies is far from losing momentum. Concerts (all, of course, are free of charge) begin July 10 and run until the 18th. This year, hear Tchaikovsky's "Coronation March" and Violin Concerto, Dvorák's Symphony No. 8, John Adams' "The Chairman Dances", Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. Also performing with the New York Philharmonic is world renowned violinist, Jennifer Koh. If you're in, around, or visiting the New York City area, drop by the New York Philharmonic website for complete event details and enjoy an evening of great music in the great outdoors.
