Classical Music Work of the Week

This week's classical work is from one of Verdi's last operas, Otello. This wonderful opera is a culmination of Verdi's musical genius. His music is said to always contribute to the drama, never outshine it. Verdi's "Ave Maria", which is very different from Bach's or Schubert's, is an extremely deep, rich, and lyrical piece of music.
