Thomas Newman - Biography of a Great Film Composer

Thomas Newman, arguably one of the best, most distinctive film composers today, wrote the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies, Meet Joe Black. The music is what makes the film all the more magical. It's a perfect example of modern classical music. Its melodies are heart wrenching and soothing at the same time.
