Lang Lang - Rachmaninov

Born in 1982, this remarkable young pianist plays Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Variations of Paganini's Rhapsody. If you have never heard a Rachmaninov piece, I suggest you start with this CD. Lang Lang plays with the famous Mariinsky Orchestra under the leadership of Valery Gergiev. The quality of the music is next to none. I have no doubt that you will enjoy this CD.
